The Lunar base of the future

// Who are we?

We are a team of students from Vienna, Austria, aged 16-17,  who have participated in the European Space Agency’s Moon Camp Pioneers Challenge - a project that challenges students from all over the world to design their own Moon settlement using 3D modeling tools.

// What is atlas?

ATLAS is our vision of how a lunar base could look like in as little as 15 years. What makes ATLAS special, is the fact that it is primarily located underground in one of the moon’s empty lunar lava tubes, which provide protection from cosmic radiation, solar radiation, meteorites and micrometeorites.
